Jazz Shoe Guide:

The sole of your child's jazz shoe is one of the most important aspects to consider. If your child is a beginner, then we recommend a pair of full sole jazz shoes. The full sole forces the foot to work much harder than a split sole helping develop the muscles, control and precision required for dancing.

Once your child is more advanced and the muscles in their feet have developed, you can move on to a split sole shoe which allows the foot more freedom of movement.

The full sole shoe is the standard shoe choice for Stagecoach. Please ask your child's Dance Teacher for advice about the right shoe for your child.

Choosing the right size:

Please note that jazz shoes are slightly smaller than usual shoes so you should order one size larger than normally worn.
